Chastain provided professional engineering and survey services to assist with the design of a new electrical substation.
Chastain performed a topographical and boundary survey of their property near Wedron, Illinois and adjacent to the Fox River. Ameren is planning a major electrical transmission project to serve customers with power in this area.
Ameren engineers designed the site to accommodate their transmission equipment and also to provide for oil spill containment per IEPA requirements. Chastain interfaced with Ameren engineers to provide them with CADD drafting in order to allow construction plans to be prepared for the site.
