Site Surveys
NBC Plaza Improvements, Chicago, Illinois
Chastain performed a boundary survey of the NBC Plaza including a topographic survey for the Cityfront Plaza Renovation in Chicago. The renovation involved the replacement of the existing deteriorated granite paving with concrete walks; ramps were revised to be ADA compliant; and landscaping and tree grates were improved. A utility and facility survey were also performed. This project was completed in spring of 2011.
The Aqua, Chicago, Illinois
Chastain has provided land surveying services for several of the building sites in Lakeshore East, (a 28 acre master-planned community comprised of luxury condos, Parkhomes, apartments, shops, and an award-winning 6 acre park, located in downtown Chicago) including the 87 story Aqua which is pictured here. Surveying services provided includes preparation of land title surveys, architectural/engineering design surveys, topographic surveys, underground utility surveys, and surveys related to the master plan development of Lakeshore East. Additional survey projects within the Lakeshore East development include the building sites known as The Tides, Benton Place Parkhomes, Village Market, building sites B, C and D (yet to be named), and the most recent addition to Lakeshore East, The Coast.
The Fairbanks, Chicago, Illinois
Located just north of the Chicago River in the sought-after Streeterville neighborhood, Chastain provided land surveying services for the two remaining sites in Block 1 of the Cityfront Plaza including The Fairbanks; a luxury high rise which is pictured here. The land survey services provided includes land title surveys, engineering design surveys, and surveys related to the property and space (air-rights) over the western portion of the Fairbanks building footprint. Chastain also provided land surveys and engineering design services for the newest addition to Block 1 known as the Optima Center of Chicago.
